We encourage Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, students, those retired from the practice, and anyone interested in supporting the purposes of the Society to join SVN. If you’re not sure which category you fit under, let us know!
SVN membership is on a calendar year cycle: January 1st to December 31st. If you join mid-year, your membership will still end at the end of the year. We encourage you to join or renew your membership toward the beginning of the year to maximize your benefits.

SVN provides CE credit through the Annual Conference. Details on contact hours are released ahead of the conference each year.

JVN welcomes original articles that present descriptions, etiologies, diagnostic procedures, medical and surgical treatment, and nursing implications of vascular system disorders. The Cardiac/Vascular Nurse certification exam is offered by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in collaboration with the Society for Vascular Nursing, the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association. SVN Members will receive a discounted fee of $340.00 to take the initial exam. Non- members’ fee is $395.00. Learn more here.
